Copyright is a form of protection to an authors work such as music, pictures, videos, writing. I found an article called "US shuts down popular file sharing website megaupload.com".Basically megaupload.com was a filesharing website that people used to pirate music and movies.Megaupload generated more than $175 million in criminal proceeds and caused more than half a billion dollars in harm to copyright owners. This was the largest criminal case ever brought by the US and directly targets the misuse of a public content storage and distribution site to commit and facilitate intellectual property crime.

Privacy on the internet has been a growing issue for quite some time now. More people are using the internet

and social media websites. These people are posting information on these sites that they would not want

everyone in the world knowing. In my opinion you shouldn't really post every detail about your life unless

your asking for trouble. However, we're losing privacy beyond the internet. Basically the only privacy you

have these days is within your own home. For me personally i really don't care about privacy unless it is

threatening me. Privacy on the internet will continue to be a growing problem until people relize that posting every bit  of information on websites is a bad idea. In the article "Facebook Privacy Is So Confusing Even
the Zuckerberg Family Photo Isn't Private", it discusses how facebook's privacy settings are confusing especially for not so technology friendly users.
